1. Club Welfare.

Tullow RFC will strive to influence, to promote, create and maintain safe environments for Age Grade Players.  Tullow RFC will endeavour to maintain the key values of Respect, Inclusivity, Integrity, Excellence and Fun as outlined in the IRFU Spirit of Rugby Charter.  Tullow RFC Child Safeguarding Statement has been developed in line with requirements under the Children’s First Act 2015 a copy of which can be found below.  This statement is reviewed every two years or as soon as practicable after there has been a material change in any matter to which the statement refers.  The Club Welfare Officer is a person appointed by a club to ensure the implementation of IRFU Safeguarding Policy 2021.  Janice Ryan is the Club Welfare Officer for our club and can be contacted via email at the following: janicecwotullow@gmail.com.  If you believe a child is at risk the concern should be brought to the attention of the Club Welfare Officer who will implement the IRFU Case Management Process in line with IRFU’s safeguarding policy.
